Goals
The goal of Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. is to provide children in the Philippines with various residential services, medical, psychosocial, educational support and emergency assistance to harness their potential in community and nation building.

Residential Based Support Program
The Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. operates five (5) 24-hour residential care centers for abandoned, orphaned, neglected and dependent children under the guidance of trained staff. The clients or residents in the centers are cared for under a structured therapeutic environment with the end view of reintegrating them with their families and communities as a socially functioning individual.
CJFI performs and implements nine (9) services under the Residential Based Support Program focused on the needs of the clients/residents as follows:
Social Services
The social services are focused on case management processes for all clients admitted to the centers. These include a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care, coordination, evaluation, and advocacy for options to meet the needs of the clients.
Home Life Services
The centers provide homelife services to meet the basic needs of each resident such as food, clothing, and toiletries with well-balanced and organized activities providing a wholesome family experience to meet their physical, emotional, mental and social needs.
Educational Services
The Foundation values the importance of education as one of the vital supports to develop the capacity of the children to become productive citizens in the country. The Foundation shall provide appropriate education.
Psychological Services
Psychological intervention is undertaken to help clients cope with emotional stress or problems as a result of the psycho-social problems encountered. The clients are subjected to undergo periodic psychological assessment to determine their social functioning and development.
Medical and Dental Services
Health is wealth. Every child under the care of the Foundation will be afforded with the necessary medical and dental support including proper food, hygiene, and physical activities. This is to ensure the child’s overall health and well-being.
Sports/Recreation Services
Sports and recreation are essential elements of human biology and psychology. It is a method of promoting camaraderie, unity, active and healthy being, character building, and physical fitness.
Spiritual/Religious Services
Spiritual enrichment is an important intervention to transform the total person of a child giving due respect to his/her religious beliefs to become a God-fearing person. The centers shall design activities that will help enrich spiritual development of the child.
Practical Skills Development Services
The centers provide technical and livelihood skills training to equip the children with essential skills to become self-reliant, responsible, and active contributing members in the community.
After Care Services
After care services are those referred to the Local Social Welfare and Development Office (LSWD) for the provision of support services for discharged children. These cases are still under the monitoring of the Center Social Worker.
